Open Question: do you think this is definatly a miscarriage?

Hi everyone i am approx 5 weeks pregnant, 5 days ago I started bleeding really badly (needing to change pad at least every hour) I went to hospital and when they took blood the hormone level is only 495. I waited 48 hours and had the same test repeated now I am just waiting to look if it has gone up at every. the doctors at hospital weren't shy to let me know that it didn't look good. I have also passed a few clots approx the size of golf balls. very occasionaly I have the same sort of clots during my normal period. does anybody think that there is any wish for my baby? I am absolutly devistated and am holding on to the tiny bit of wish that i am just bleeding for some other reason and it is not a miscarriage.
